All Force Free Tennessee (FFTN) membership applications are thoroughly reviewed.
Membership in the FFTN is not automatic with application. The FFTN reserves the right to protect the integrity of the group by conducting a detailed review of each application to ensure it is in line with our group’s mission, principle values and ethics. We reserve the right to remove any FFTN member, at any time, for violations of the group mission, principle values and ethics. All fees, including membership fees, are non-refundable.
FFTN's Annual Membership fee is $35.
All members must be credentialed by a nationally-recognized organization in their field (CPDT, ACAAB, KPA, IAABC, etc.). All members must follow ideologies in line with the mission of this association.

Force Free Tennessee is a resource for veterinarians, groomers, and pet owners to find trustworthy, skilled professional trainers and behavior specialists. By joining us, you become part of an elite group of animal professionals who can be recommended by the animal community. This website, as well as literature in veterinary clinics, grooming, and boarding facilities, will send traffic directly to your website and contact information.
Please note: A $10.00 non-refundable application fee is required. The fee is valid for 30-days.
Complete the FFTN membership application.
Upon submitting the application, you will be redirected to PayPal to submit the $10.00 non-refundable application fee. Your application is not complete until payment has been received.
Once payment is submitted, you will be emailed a receipt of payment from PayPal.
The board members will review your application and send an email response within 7 days. If a response has not been received within 7 days, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about the status of your application.
If membership is approved, an email will be sent on how to submit the membership fee balance.
Once fees are received, you will be added to our private, members-only Facebook group and you will receive your FFTN business cards in the mail. Business cards are great for distributing to local vets and animal specialists in your area to help them promote force free methods.
The application will be reviewed by the board members and may include:
Reviewing your website and Facebook page for dog training methods and techniques (including photos and verbiage used), animal care and overall business ethics..
Conducting a short interview with you to determine suitability membership.
Cross-referencing your experience and credentials and contact your client and professional references.
Asking our current members for information regarding the application.
Requesting a current member to observe private or group lessons, without fee.
